How to display post excerpt in Accelerate theme?

Hi, i am using WordPress 3.9.1 and Accelerate theme. I made a list posts on page with this code:

and then, i wanna make it just showed a title with thumbnail or just posts excerpt. I tried to replace code <?php the_content(); ?> with <?php the_excerpt(); ?>. But, i couldn’t find it anymore. I tried to find it in index.php, category.php, etc. and i found nothing.

What should i do? Please help me. Thank you so much.
