How to display full articles in archive?

I am very new at this so please assume nothing. I don’t like how if I click on a category, the articles display 5 lines of text then … and you need to click the category title to read the full article. How can I change this? (For example, see http://www.jessb.org/blog/?cat=2)

I am beginning to learn PHP so if you offer explicit directions I should be okay.

    Thanks so much 🙂

That’s called a category archive and it is the proper way to display the posts – instead of having a mile long page with 20 full posts…

Anyway, it’s your blog, do as you want.
In the archive.php file replace the_excerpt tag with the_content.
