How to display content only on click

    Hello,

I would like to have a part of a post (well, actually, a page) to have extra content, but I don’t want it to be automatically displayed. Rather, I would like to have a “find out more” kind of link which people would have to click to get the extra content come up within the text. I don’t know the technical vocabulary, that’s why I’m explaining it like this. Is it even possible?

I think it should be possible with jQuery, but will most likely involve a lot of work and theme customization.
If you take a look at this theme, they have the post opened and then you can click on them to close them -http://support.shakenandstirredweb.com/shaken-tumble/

I don’t know if this is close to what you’re after, but you could always take a look at it and see how they did it.

    Thanks a lot, Christine!

I’m looking for something similar to what this page does:

You have to click on the name of a song to display its lyrics.

And yeah, that website has done it beautifully. I would very much like something similar, just without the table of contents. Thanks again, I’ll look into it!
