 * how do you display code in a page?
 * I’ve tried:
    <textarea> and I get </br> wherever theres a space in the writign
   on the page.
 * <pre> and <cite> and neither show up!
 * the domains [http://www.emesis.net](http://www.emesis.net)
 * whats going wrong?

 * um, `<code><pre> the_code</pre></code>`? the_code should be html escaped, ofc;
   or you may drop <pre> and use nl2br…

 * I think you will also need remember to use &lt; for < and &gt; for >
