  • Hi Everyone,

I am a newbie and I would like to display an RSS Feed on my blog. I’ve been searching and can’t seem to find the correct information and plugin.

    Thanks again, Bob

  • I’m not sure if this is what you’re looking for, but I am currently working on something for that. Everything is working properly, but for categories, it only lists the first category, or it lists the categories without commas separating them. Take a look at this page for more information:

Also, I’m currently asking around for the categories info in this forum post:

Thanks, I think this will work nicely. I haven’t tried it yet, what do I do with the code? It seems like I will need to insert it into a file, but where, what is the file name that will need to be edited?

    Thanksw again for your help!

    Regards, Bob

Sorry. I hadn’t realized I didn’t write directions for that. I just updated the post with the directions needed for creating that page.

Thanks, I think I am almost there. I am confused when it comes to creating a page. Where do select “Feeds” when creating the new page. I looked around and couldn’t find anything, maybe I did it wrong.

    Thanks again, Bob

On the right hand side, there should be a module that says “Page Template”. Select Feed from the drop-down menu.

Yes, that’s what I thought. Unfortunately, it did not appear. I’ll check the directory my feed.php is in.

I moved feeds.php to a few directories and still will not show up under page template. Is there any easier method?

feeds.php should be placed in the folder that contains whatever theme you are using. Do you have this at the very top of the feeds.php page?

    Template Name: Feed

    Try that.
