• I have a product category page (Baseball/Softball) which displays my baseball and softball products; however, many of the products are just novelty items, so I am trying to put them into a child category called ‘Novelties.’

I went to the dashboard’s Product Category page and created the child category ‘Novelties,’ making it’s parent category ‘Baseball/Softball,’ and saved it. Then I went to each of the baseball novelty products that I now see displayed on the ‘Baseball’ category page and edited them by selecting the option which said ‘Novelties’ and also checked ‘Make Primary.’ Then I updated it. However, those products still show on the Baseball/Softball product page, as well as on the Novelty page. How do I get them to not show on the Baseball/Softball product page? I want them to show only on the baseball/softball novelty page.

When editing each product, I tried both checking, as well as un-checking the Baseball/Softball category box which lies above the ‘Novelties’ check box, then updated, but that didn’t do the trick.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
