    Dashboard shows Views count for each Title. I do not want the plugin to count Views count. How to disable counting Views count?

    Thanks.

    Hi Primy,

    Unfortunately, there’s no option in the plugin to disable the counting of the views or to hide that information from the Dashboard or FAQs tabs in the plugin admin.

    If you really wanted, you could edit the plugin files directly to remove those columns from the tables in the plugin admin. But I really wouldn’t suggest doing this unless you’re comfortable modifying the code.

    For example, for the Dashboard tab, you’d want to remove the following two lines from the Dashboard.php file in the html folder:

    <th><?php _e("Views", 'EWD_ABCO'); ?></th>

    and

    <td><?php echo get_post_meta($Dashboard_FAQ->ID, 'ufaq_view_count', true); ?></td>

    Thanks for the reply.

    I do not want the plugin to update the counting of the views in the database. Updating the counting of the views in the database may add processing and network load. Basically, I want to use FAQ as read only, but no database update.

    Could you please suggest a code to disable the counting and updating of the views count.
