• I am using the 3.0 menus with a drop down in a horizontal nav bar.

I do not want the top menu items to be clickable – I want them disabled so that only the drop down menu items have links. I have looked in the options but cannot see this – anyone have an idea? I am using 3 page and 3 categories as the main top menus.

I like the 3.0 menu features so I would use a redirect plugin if this is the last resort.

  • You can use ‘#’ as the URL for any item that should not be clickable.

Ac-tually that isn’t really ideal. If you click on said top link while in Firefox you will get an alert: ‘The URL is not valid and cannot be loaded’.

Annoying. Anybody have an alternative? I’m thinking jQuery, but I’m lazy. 🙂
