    @finnj

I will look into disabling the media upload from the settings

Doesnt make much sense to disable the text editor, unless you mean just showing a text area (as with excerpts) ?

thanks for the great support …

well the idea is to make the editor customizable … for example the admin be able to specify if the author is able to use Heading Tags or not …. and it would be great if admin be able to disable HTML or Visible tabs …

and regarding the media .. its important cause in many websites admins do not want to allow users to upload image and video files because of space limitations and such.

    thanks

    I will look into this.

My main concern is that it will end up with too many options, making the plugin too complicated.

Do you see this, as these options are for all user roles, or a setting for all roles ?

well I believe some options would be needed for many users … I own a Webhosting and WebDesign company , I was gonna code a similar plugin myself .. then I saw your plugin and TBH it saved me a lot of time … so I decided to give you a website as a gift for this plugin or your future plugins if you want ( and we can have more co-operations) … please contact me using this email uiqarena [AT] GMAIL . com if you are interested …

… regarding the changes .. so I will wait for your response … thanks again..

Have looked into this quickly, and it will be fairly easy to implement.

The media upload will be an option to allow media upload for each user role (as the other options)

As for the editor options, there multiple ways of doing this – I will give it some thought during the next couple of days.

After looking into this, i believe it makes sense to add these options to Frontier Post, but it might be a week or two hefore I will release it.

As for your offer, I might take you up on this 🙂

Thats great, and I have some great ideas for you and I am sure they will help you to release a commercial version too, so please contact me whenever you had time 🙂

    and thanks for the support

    I have uploaded a beta version (1.4.1)

The following settings has been added:
    – media upload
    – allow drafts
    – editor layout

as for the editor layouts, I need to find some more descriptive explanations of the four types:
    – Full
    – Minimal
    – Simple
    – Text only
    Please give input

please be aware that this hasnt been tested, and even though it might seem to work, I need to add some checks. eg. the editor might seem simple, but a backend check for allowed HTML needs to be added

So do NOT test on live site 🙂

    Let me have your feedback
