    Topic says it all.

    How to disable “email change confirmation email” for admins?

    This entire mechanism: “The new address will not become active until confirmed.

    How to turn that off?

    The following will disable the admin email verification check:

    add_filter( ‘admin_email_check_interval’, ‘__return_false’ );

    Thank you @t-p

    I did that.

    But what I want is to disable the notification email when changing the admin emailadress.

    Your filter only disables the nagging email check that pops up during login every now and then.

    Try this filter:
    add_filter( ‘send_password_change_email’, ‘__return_false’ );

    I have these:

    add_filter( ‘admin_email_check_interval’, ‘__return_false’ );
    add_filter( ‘send_email_change_email’, ‘__return_false’ );
    add_filter( ‘send_password_change_email’, ‘__return_false’ );

    None of those affects the emails that are sent out to admins on the change of admin emails.

    Still says “Your email address has not been updated yet. Please check your inbox at….” right after changing it and sending a mail with
    “Howdy admin,
    You recently requested to have the email address on your account changed.
    If this is correct, please click on the following link to change it:…”

    These fixes in your stackexchangelink only apply to WordPress 4.x

    @benutzername1 how about adding the following in a admin_init action hook?

    remove_action( 'admin_notices', 'new_user_email_admin_notice', 10 );

    works4me.
