    Hi there,

    Just started using your plugin, and I am trying to figure out how one could disable date and time when creating new event?
    We have some events that don’t have specific time yet, but we need show them, so people would get ready.

    I’ve read there some conditional shortcodes, but not sure where to red more about them, and where do I look to insert them.

    Apology if I missed something. But I’ll be very grateful for assistance

    Regards,
    Alex

  • Hi Alex,

    To show or hide the date, the conditional placeholders would normally go in the Default event list format or the Default single event format under Events > Settings > Formatting.

    This should help:

    Hi caimin_nwl,
    Thanks for getting back!

    I think I have found it.. but it still doesn’t give me to create event without providing this information.. Did I missed some placeholder somewhere? Or it just wired that way?

    Thanks

    Here is what I am using

    {has_time} - #_EVENTDATES {/has_time}{has_time}- #_EVENTTIMES{/has_time}

    It keeps asking me “Dates must have correct formatting. Please use the date picker provided.”

    This is on the Add / Edit Event page? You must add a date and time for each event.

    If you make the event all day and set the start and end time to the same time, that will trigger the {no_time} conditional placeholder.
