Support » Plugin: AMP » How to disable „AMP Validated URLs” Reports in Reader Mode?

    Hello,
in new AMP 2.0 update we have access to AMP Validated URLs Report and AMP Validation Error Index. I’d like to disable this, because there is still about „Invalid markup removed: 3”.
    Is it possible?
    Thx in advance!

  • Thanks for getting in touch. Previously in reader mode where validation errors occurred they were automatically handled, with users in many cases unaware of such validation errors. We’ve therefore added the validation tool as it appears in the other modes. You can find out more in the related GitHub issue below:
    https://github.com/ampproject/amp-wp/issues/4480

We’ve also added a sticky post that explains this feature in more detail.

In relation to removing the validation tool @westonruter may be able to provide additional information on whether removing this is something we support. You can also create a feature request for this or any other suggestion using the plugins GitHub repository.
