    Hi All,

    Is there a way to disable the “Add / Add to Google Calendar Download iCal” in the concerts listing?
    I cannot find any setting for this. But it doesn’t look good in the concert list and I like to disable this line…

    Thanks!

    Hey Stomeg,

    Thanks for reaching out.

    Sorry for my poor understanding here, but just to be 100% certain about the links you’re referring to, can you share a link to a listing on your site where they’re showing up? I can make a solid recommendation from there.

    You should be able to disable those based on the “Show RSS and iCal Subscription Links” option shown here (click for a larger-sized image):

    Hi ggwicz,

    Thanks for your answer!
    The “Show RSS and iCal Subscription Links” option (checkbox) doesn’t work at me.
    It means I can check or uncheck it, the below part is displayed in my Concerts page:

    “Add
    Add to Google Calendar Download iCal”

    Thanks,

    I have GigPress version 2.3.17.

    Hey @stomeg,

    You could try modifying this with some custom CSS, by using a child theme or the Simple Custom CSS plugin, with something like this:

    .gigpress-calendar-add{
    visibility: hidden;
    }

    Let me know how this goes!

    Best,

    Shelby 🙂

    Thanks, shelbelliott!

    @ggwicz,
    Will there be a fix for this bug? (“Show RSS and iCal Subscription Links” option doesn’t work.)

    Thanks,

    Hi Stomeg,

    I was able to disable the RSS/iCal links by unselecting the option in Settings. Please update to the latest version of GigPress if you haven’t already done so and let us know if you continue to see the issue.

    Cheers!
    Geoff

    Hi Geoff,

    Thanks for checking it!
    Unfortunately this option doesn’t work on my site.
    I already wrote my Gigpress version here, which is the latest:
    GIGPRESS_VERSION: 2.3.17
    GIGPRESS_DB_VERSION: 1.6

    I don’t think this problem is “resolved”. Please fix this. If you need any more information about the problem, let me know, I’ll write it here.

    Again thanks for shelbelliott’s solution, but I’m no CSS professional and I’d prefer this button working… Anyway if you can help me more about how to make this CSS setting, I can try it.

    Thanks,
    Stomeg

    Hi @stomeg.

    I tested GigPress version 2.3.17 with WordPress 4.7.2, Twenty Seventeen theme, and no other plugins active and the “Show RSS and iCal subscription links.” option in GigPress’ settings did work for me when using [gigpress_shows] shortcode.

    Please see if you can replicate this. If you cannot, please specify what differences you’re experiencing.

    Thank you.

    Hi Clifford!

    Thanks for the test.
    I have GigPress 2.3.17 with WordPress 4.7.2 too.
    I use a custom made theme. But I don’t think it has anything to do with a Gigpress checkbox setting.

    I use this shortcode on my Concerts page: [gigpress_shows scope=upcoming]

    Hi All,

    Does anybody know where can I download an older version of GigPress that doesn’t have Google Calendar and iCal features?

    Thanks,

    Hi @stomeg,

    Did you try if you are having the issue with twentyseventeen as well? Even when a theme is custom made it can have an influence.

    As for older versions: if you go to this page, then you have a dropdown with the version numbers and you can download the one you need.

    Hope this helps.

    Cheers,
    Andras

    I too am having this issue. What’s the link to download the older versions? You didn’t provide one.

    Hi @jsharp29

    Recently WordPress.org redesigned the plugins directory. It appears that the older versions can be downloaded at https://wordpress.org/plugins/gigpress/advanced/ at the bottom of the page.

    Thanks
    Courtney 🙂

    Thanks @courane01, I forgot to put in the link. 🙂

    Since there was no movement here for more then a month I’m going to close this as resolved.

    Cheers,
