  • Go to admin-settings-reading and you can set your front page there.

You can either have a static front page or just display your latest posts.

Sounds like you probably want a static page.

thanks for the speedy reply –

the homepage as it stands now is fine – i like it displaying the latest posts.
however, if someone navigates to ” about me” for example and then wants to get back to the homepage there is no way to.

when you click on the “home” tab it sends you to a blank page.

any other suggestions? sorry if that wasn’t clear!

    thanks in advance

Your “Home” link is pointing at a page…

How is the nav bar built?

If it is just displaying pages etc on the wordpress site, remove the page called “home” (this should remove the link) then change the settings above and problem should be solved…

not sure how the nav bar is built? haven’t customized it – came with the theme http://www.marcuseckert.com/2010/04/20/jessica-fletcher-redux/

i deleted “home” page in admin and changed front page to static as instructed above…
still no way to navigate back to home from another page…

    sorry, if i’m missing something?!

    thanks
