# How to dequeue Google fonts?

 * Hi, I want to enqueue my own font to the site. But in browser console I see that
   request to the google fonts api is switch on. How to dequeue Google fonts request?
   Thanks!

 * Thanks! I saw these decisions. But they are all based on the change in core files.
   And after the next wp update my changes will be lost. And I’m looking for a solution
   that would not affect the core files. Maybe Disable Google Fonts plugin will 
   solve this problem. But I have not tested it yet.

 * The font is enqueued in a wp core file but neither of those links proposed changing
   the core files. They both mention a plugin, and the second one also discusses
   using a function in a child theme functions.php file.
