I was experimenting with creating templates. In the process, I created a custom template to play around with to see how it works. How do I delete this custom template? I can’t seem to find the delete button, even when I’m inside the template editing window. The “Dashboard > Appearance > Editor > Template” no longer exists. Please help and forgive my ignorance. Thanks.

As you cannot find the template in your WordPress dashboard, try removing it from the FTP.

You need to navigate to the “wp-content” directory, locate the “themes” folder and open it.

Find the folder of the active theme you are using. This theme must contain the custom template you want to delete.

Find the folder, right-click on the custom template file, and select “Delete.”
