    Hi guys,

    I need help deleting " Recent Entries" and "Links" block in sidebar.
    In "links" block it also shows "
    Documentation
    Plugins
    Suggest Ideas
    Support Forum
    Themes
    WordPress Blog
    WordPress Plane"

    In my widgets they don't show at all so I can't change it.

    The same is with "leave a reply" in the footer area.

  2. if you don't have any widgets in the areas in the dashboard - appearance - widgets, then the theme will (usually) show some hardcoded output;

    either drag a widget of your choice into the widget area(s) which will usually make the hardcoded output disappear;
    or edit sidebar.php (or any sidebar template files) of your theme.

    Thank you for your reply! I changed the side bar by merely putting a widget to the side bar. But if I don't have any widgets there, it shows the same thing- "recent entries and links"

    I still can't resolve the problem with "post a comment" in the end of the page just before the first footer.
    I'd appreciate any help!

    CREATE TESTIMONIALS WITH PICTURES ON THE MAIN PAGE IN SNOW SUMMIT THEME.

    Can't find the right widget and/or how to create a testimonial section with pictures on the front page. Anywhere. Footer or a sidebar.

    Thank you in advance!

  5. But if I don't have any widgets there, it shows the same thing- "recent entries and links"

    tis is the default behaviour - if you don't want a sidebar, you need to edit the theme files.

    "post a comment" in the end of the page just before the first footer.

    you might need to diable comments with the available settings in the dashboard; for instance for each page by going to:
    dashboard - pages - all pages - click 'quickedit' below the page name, then untick 'allow comments'

    feel free to leave any comments.:-)

  7. can't find how to delete ...

    you can find these in footer.php:

    <?php printf( __( '%1$s by %2$s' ), 'Snow Summit', '<a href="http://weddingthemes.marriagescene.com/wedding-themes/snow-summit/">weddingthemes.marriagescene</a>' ); ?> <span class="generator-link"><a href="<?php echo esc_url( __( 'http://wordpress.org/', 'snowsummit' ) ); ?>" title="<?php esc_attr_e( 'A Semantic Personal Publishing Platform', 'snowsummit' ); ?>" rel="generator"><?php printf( __( 'Proudly powered by %s.', 'snowsummit' ), 'WordPress' ); ?></a></span>

    Hello guys,
    I have another question. For some reason my google analytics doesn't show up on the home page in wordpress. Only on other pages. Does anybody know what the problem could be?

    Thank you in advance!!!

  10. It depends on how you added the Google Analytics code. Rather than editing theme files, the simplest way (in my opinion) is to use a plugin.

    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/search.php?q=google+analytics

    I've used the one by Cavemonkey50 in the past and had no problems myself.

    PS. As this is a separate topic than your original post, you may want to start a new thread next time. ;)
