# How to decrease space between last text block and footer

 * I am webmaster of [http://www.mcmotorhead.nl](http://www.mcmotorhead.nl)
 * I have a problem with the space between the last text block and the footer. It
   really needs to be decreased. I’ve tried a lot of options but nothing helps.
   
   Who can help me?

 * It is caused by this CSS:
 *     ```
       #content {
           background-image: none;
           background-repeat: repeat-x;
           background-color: transparent;
           padding-bottom: 1000px;
       }
       ```
   
 * The first 3 rules are not needed and the last is causing the large gap. It appears
   to have been added using the themify customizer. Remove it.
