How to deal with lots of podcast channels

    Hi, I run a site for a large podcast and there are LOTS of podcast channels. This has gotten unwieldly in the post editor screens since ALL the podcast channel media url metaboxes show up on all custom post types. To make things easier with editors it would be great if I could do one or both of these things:

    1. Have these media url meta boxes NOT show up on any post types other than posts. Maybe something I can hook into?

    2. Have a way that not all channels’s media url meta boxes show up in the post editor. Deleting old unused channels is not really an option for us, but maybe a way to filter some out, either by explicitly selecting them, or by age?
