    Hi,

    great plugin so far!

Is there a way to modify the receipt template by myself? I have to do some translation 🙂

And – maybe more complex – the tax ventilated by the different tax rates, not only the total tax (The Label of the rate and the sum for this rate. It’s a legal thing)

    Any help is highly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,
    André

On the receipt template translations. The receipt and print process for the POS is managed under the companion plugin app, GCP Print, also free, here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/print-google-cloud-print-gcp-woocommerce/.

The GCP Print plugin app supports translation, you can see all the strings here: https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/print-google-cloud-print-gcp-woocommerce/ for translation, including the receipt template strings.

This will allow you to provide the translation you need. we don’t exactly understand the question about taxes, but if you don’t find the strings you are requiring for legal purposes. Re-open the forum post, we’d be happy to review again and clarify what you mean on taxes.

If you want to make any stylistics modifications to the print template, you can find the templates under the directory /templates. Using HTML, you can modify the styling or add new line items as required. We also provide developer resources, if you want to create a new custom template and not modify the default templates here: https://www.bizswoop.com/wp/print/developer/

One last quick comment. Thanks for the feedback about the plugin! We work really hard, so this feedback helps to motivate us to keep building a great plugin app for the community. If you have a few minutes, please consider leaving us a review. This would be very appreciated.

Thank you for your reply, I think I can manage the translation issue 🙂

    About the taxes:

Let’s say I have a product for 10€ (including 17% tax), another product for 10€ (including 8% tax) and a third product for 10€ (including 3% tax).

The total amount will be 30€, that’s clear. But I need the sums for the 3 tax rates, not only the total tax.

    –> Tax rate 17% = xx€
    Tax rate 8% = xx€
    Tax rate 3% = xx€

The 3 labels and the 3 sums. If this can be managed I’m your man!

    Best regards,
    André

Thanks for the additional clarification on the taxes. This was helpful.

We’ve been thinking about that feature already! 🙂

Now, next to total we show the Includes Taxes, clicking on the pop-up will show a detailed break down by Tax Class. Once the order is placed, under the Order details it shows the columns for tax classes and line item for taxes.

You can see the functionality here:

The new feature is in testing now and will be released in the next release.

If the different tax sums and labels are also printed on the receipt I will be a very happy man 🙂
