Support » Fixing WordPress » How to customize sidebar menu style?
3 years, 6 months ago
I had created custom menu for my sidebar. I want to customize how the menu looks like.
For example, my sidebar contains Greeting card, birthday, stationary pages, and I want to make greeting card for 12px, red color when selected, and birthday for 10px, blue color.
I try to use css classes in the menu page, but failed.
1. I used .current-menu-item, it only specify the page that you selected.
2. I created specific class for it, name “small” and went to css “.small” to customize, but it didn’t work.
Here’s the code section I want to customize:
<li id=”menu-item-1850″ class=”menu-item menu-item-type-post_type menu-item-object-page menu-item-1850″>
I wonder why I just couldn’t go to styles.css, and customize id: menu-item-1850 for that menu?
Any suggestions for this customization?
Thanks a lot!!
