  • hi, i have a tablet that doesnt fit in my wordpress theme,even if i use a full width template, even removing the sidebar,the tablet doesnt fit, it is very big. I wonder if there is a way to create another template but full width from one edge to the other edge of the screen?

    Thank you!

  • you can generally create any size template (for most themes) – using CSS and HTML if needed.

    details depend on the used theme.

    http://codex.wordpress.org/Forum_Welcome#Include_as_Much_Information_as_Possible

    it is the Cicero theme, site and table are here :

    http://25kph.com/?p=1325

    The limitation is coming from the width of your container.

    It is currently set to be 930px. You can use the code to change that width.

    .mh-container {
      width: 1200px;
    }

    However, if you want to just do this for that one page, you need to use this code:

    .page-id-1325 .mh-container {
      margin: 30px auto;
      width: 1200px;
    }

    The final problem, in my opinion, is there is a lot of padding inside the white page areas of your content. To reduce this so that it looks a little better, you can use this CSS:

    .page-id-1325 .content-margin {
      padding: 4% 4.5%;
    }

    Again that ^^ code only affects that one page.

    Finally, ensure that any of this code goes into a “custom CSS” area within your theme’s control panel, or in your style.css file if using a child theme

    For tables I would recommend using TablePress.

    looks ok now with the above code, ,but in small displays it gets truncated, i guess because it is not responsive? but i do not know, thanks

    @cccamuseme yes i thought i could use tablepress but it is just one table so i didnt want to use another plugin in my site
