Support » Networking WordPress » How to create team in WordPress. Creating multi users

  • I currently working on my office project. which is a website for managing a hackathon event that occurs every year. Our users will be in teams of 1 to 3 people and will be able to post about their project live on our website. I’ve searched for plugins no result found.

Need the below to be answered.

People will able to create a team with the “Build a Team” option.
People have access to Invite/browse Teammates by email from the participant’s list.
People also have the option to join the team. By clicking Join the team.
Only 3 participants in each team.
    Kindly help ASAP.

  • Hi Raakesh,

    Thank you for asking.

By default, WordPress is only providing pages, posts, media and other functionalities.

The functionality of creating a team is not provided in a fresh WordPress install.

However, we can use a “custom post type” feature of WordPress and create a custom post type for creating teams.

For more details on Custom Post Types, please click here.

    Thanks

Have you checked the plugins here?

I was being slightly facetious when I wrote the second part of this answer linked below but it’s based on some real-world solutions I’ve done and still use from time to time with VNC software. You might notice I leaned on Chrome for a solution for half of this, too.

Maybe this is a hardware problem in reality… You might look to Real VNC for a usable VNC system. VNCs are right cool.

We used to install a hardware dongle and an ethernet cable in some ATMS to provide a secure remote second terminal for the ATMs I used to work on.

    Hello, @faisal03

Thanks for the solution. Now I’ve found a solution to this problem. After long research now I decide to use Ultra community or BuddyPress. Could you please help with the Ultra community?

    Hi @rocky2sdat

Excuse me for the delayed reply. I hope you found a solution and you may have also looked at the Ultra Community Documentation here.

Please let me know if you are still facing any issues.

    Thanks.
