Has anyone had experience create tags for the blog? i'm thinking about doing it, but don't know where to start. i heard Yahoo has good API for tags. can anyone point me in the right direction.

i hope to accomplish with my new blog:

    1. create tags for all my blog posts. when i post a page, i will assign tags to the post. a perfect example of this is when i'm posting this question here in this forum, i can "enter a few words (called tags) separated by spaces to help someone find your topic".

    or

    2. just have tags created automatically... like Flickr

thanks in advance for the insights

I tried adding line in my template:

    <div class="sidebartags"><?php UTW_ShowWeightedTagSetAlphabetical("coloredsizedtagcloud","","25") ?></div>

(as recommended by http://lorelle.wordpress.com/2005/10/23/the-ultimate-tag-warrior-wordpress-plugin/), but the font sizes are so big, and i have no idea how to change it. Does anyone know how to change the font for tags?

also, is there a way to make tags generated automatically as opposed to having to manually enter the tags for every post? i don't know if i want to do this though, but it's good to know.

  6. Font sizes: Look on the Options->Tags page under "Global Formatting Settings". There's a minimum and maximum font size you can set here, and you can set it in percentages, pixels, points, or em's.

Automatic tagging: There's no good way to do automatic tagging. However, on the post page, there's a button you can click to get tag suggestions from Yahoo. After writing your post, click that button and wait for Yahoo to analyse and guess tags for your post. Then click the tags you want to add them to that post.

i'm able to get Tags to work... thanks!

my tag page does not display the correct <TITLE> on browser. if i have a tag called "Los Angeles", the <title> should display "Los Angeles", but it's not. How can I customize <title> to display the correct tags?

    Appreciate any insights!
