How To Create Grid Like Image Layout With Custom Text / Buttons?

Hi all,

I hope I’m posting this in the correct space and if I am not please let me know and I’ll make sure I ask this query in the right place.

I would like to know how to create a full width masonry grid layout like this site’s homepage: http://timothyoulton.com or see the attached image for what I am referring to about the site: http://i.imgur.com/1ornDAO.jpg

Can this be achieve with a plugin etc or do I need to hire someone to custom code this? The main thing I like is that the button’s can be each customised to have different text instead of a ‘one size fits all’ view more or click here on each image.

Any advice or insight is much appreciated.
