  • Resolved bennygill

    I want to add something to my functions file that filters the “Posted By…” text that appears on my posts.

    This is the php I need to ‘hide’.

    <small class="entry-meta"><?php skematik_posted_on(); ?></small>

    I need to stop that from appearing on content-single.php and maybe some other pages I think of down the road.

    Can anyone help me out by providing some code to put into the functions.php file to make that happen?

    I don’t want to simply delete that code snippet from the theme because every-time I upgrade the theme it will be lost.

  • Partly a guess, but try adding this to the end of your style.css:

    small.entry-meta { display: none; }

    It might help if you posted a link to your site where the problem can be seen.

    thanks. worked like a charm 🙂
