How to create extensive user profiles

    I just started my first WP site. It is hosted on Bluehost and I am having trouble finding the right terminology to search for info as to which plugins to use.

    What I’m trying to achieve:
    A site where my clients can log into their accounts, upload images, information, edit their bio, (an events calendar and other features would be nice eventually). Basically, I’m a PR person for artists and I need them to keep their info updated so I can reference it to write press releases and blogs for them. Site URL is: http://www.theartbeacon.com

    I use a WuFoo form for the artists to upload a new work with all of the accompanying information, but WuFoo doesn’t have a form they could use to go back and edit or add information.

    I have installed S2Member, but as I am learning about it I’m not sure I’m going in the right direction. I am under the gun to get this thing basically functional. I am new to WordPress so I am not familiar with proper terminology yet.

    I would appreciate any suggestions as to how to approach the profile functionality issue or at least the proper terminology to use to I can research and figure it out.
