So WP allows you to upload image files and create thumbnails for them that can be posted in the body of the post, and that are linked to the original (bigger) image on a separate page. You get there by clicking on the thumbnail.
Okay, here’s my question:
How do I create a custom “image page” i.e. the page that shows up when someone clicks on my thumbnail links?
I don’t want anything special, but I do notice that the default image page compresses my original image, even though it’s loading the ENTIRE image, thus I’m spending bandwidth and only showing an ugly, compressed version. (The visitor can click on the compress version and get the original version, but I’d rather have the original there originally.)
I’m assuming (probably wrongly) that I would have to create a separate image page to get it to work? Or maybe there are some tweaks I can do to the code to make it show the ORIGINAL size image in the image page instead of a compressed version?
Does anyone know what I’m talking about?
