On my front page, on the dark gray area, I would like to have a small slideshow to the left of the side of the page, a nice centered headline and then text wrap on the right side of the slideshow.

How would I be able to do that? What would the code be? Thanks!

Ick, the child theme reverted the background changes and header changes i did.

Sorry, I’ve never used that plugin so I don’t know how it operates.

Damn 🙁 Okay.. Well thank you for trying to help so much :).

Even just putting a simple text over the gray background would be plenty sufficient, if you would know how to do that. I just don’t want it to be blank.

I would recommend manually creating a Child Theme. Then you know what’s going on. Learning how to use Child Themes can give you an initiative on how to make similar changes in the future.

No easy route then, huh? 😛
I guess it would be wise to learn this type of stuff for the future. Hopefully I can figure out how to do what I need to. Thank you for all your help, Andrew! You’ve been great.
