Support » Plugin: WordPoints » How to create a points section that is specified for a user

  • Is it possible to use short codes on webpage that shows how the user got his points and then the total amount of points below it by any chance?

    I’ve already tried to do it as you can see in my webpage however it’s also showing points from other users and I wish that it would show only the points obtained by that user only and not from other users as well.

    Thank you and good day!

    Hi Leonard,

    You can do that with a shortcode similar to this:

    [wordpoints_points_logs points_type="credits" query="current_user"]

    You can find more information here: https://wordpoints.org/user-guide/shortcodes/wordpoints_points_logs/

    Thank you so much it’s working perfectly now!

    Just asking, is it possible to remove the part “Points adjusted by admin. Reason:…” from each log? It’s not a major concern but if it’s possible that would be great!

    Adding the following code in your child theme’s functions.php file should do the trick:

    function my_custom_wordpoints_points_logs_profile_edit( $text, $points, $points_type, $user_id, $log_type, $meta ) {

    	return esc_html( $meta['reason'] );
    }
    add_filter( 'wordpoints_points_log-profile_edit', 'my_custom_wordpoints_points_logs_profile_edit', 20, 6 );

    Thank you will try to incorporate it!!
