Support » Plugin: Custom Taxonomy Order » How to create a navigation in archive.php with the given order?

  • I am supporting a WordPress site that is using a Twenty Fifteen child theme. Similar to the navigation on the bottom of single.php which allows to going forward and backward through the articles, I like to have a navigation on archive.php to go from one category site to the others, in a specific order.

I chose the Custom Taxonomy Order NE plugin for setting the order but I can’t figure out how to code the navigation in a way that it is following the given order.

    Any ideas or hints?

    Hmm, interesting question :).

I don’t know is this is possible. I will look into this.

Hi, I do think this is an interesting idea. I just had to look into ordering of parentterms/subterms before looking into this.
I don’t have any bright idea on how to achieve this reliably. I will leave it as a todo item, and maybe something will come up some day.
