Support » Fixing WordPress » How to create a drop down menu navigation box?

  • I am wondering how to make my website’s home page have a only 3 drop down menus; when someone clicks a topic from the first drop down menu, I want the second drop down menu to only display sub categories from the first category chosen. After they select this, the third drop down menu will display all the sub categories of the sub categories. At the very right, viewers will click search and it will show a list of all the posts that are within the last sub category underneath this entire box. What is the coding I would need for this. Please explain the methods as well as I am a newbie. Thank you so much!

    Hello there.
You need to tell us which theme you are using as well as the link to your website, otherwise the peeps here won’t be able to give you a customized answer since there are a gazillion of themes and versions.

I am currently using VideoPlus Version 1.0.4 by theme junkie. I do not wish to give out my website at this time

ok in your wordpress dashboard, under appearance, do you see ‘menu’?

Yes, (I keep getting a “slow down you move too fast message) If you know more on how to help me out, can you contact me on skype at [skype id moderated – this forum does not provide support via Skype.]

Nick, i can’t help you. But i suggest you close this thread and create a new one. In your subject box, write:
Navigation Bar problem Video Plus Version 1.0.4 by theme junkie
so you’ll attract the experts 🙂
Drop down menu is rather simple but your theme is rather special and I’ve never seen that ‘slow down you move too fast’ message.
    Good luck!
