How to Create 2 or 3 Dynamic Column Page Template and How to update the Content (4 posts)

Okay I need to use wordpress to create a custom CMS, just like this website http://www.patentable.com/default.htm

In there most pages are 2 column, but under each lawyers bio is 3 column http://www.patentable.com/professionals/gso.htm

I've found this pretty good tutorial that shows how to create 2 or 3 column. http://www.darrenhoyt.com/2007/12/26/multiple-wordpress-page-layouts-in-one-single-template/

But in the tutorial all the content aside from the main body column are generated dynamically, my problem is how to deal with the addition columns when the content are not generated dynamically. I can create a 3 column, but how can I add contents to each column ? (using the WordPress admin panel)

    Any suggestions ?

    Thank You so much!

Create a custom page template and then use CSS to split your main content area into 2 columns?
