I have a classifieds site with the custom post type ad_listing (Classipress) and I want WPWC to count the words in my ads (there are 700+).

When I enter the menu for WP Word Count, it only shows one ad in the statistics.

It checked pages and regular posts without issue.

There must be a bug in the custom post type code that makes it only count one ad, or am I doing something wrong?

I found no settings or no ability to trigger a post count update.

Oh, also by the way, it would be nice if the plugin showed the word count for each post/custom post type within the admin-side post overview page.

This is tough for me to diagnose without access to the ClassiPress theme. If you’d be willing to send me a copy of your database to take a look at please contact me: support [at] linksoftwarellc.com

Well, it works exactly like any custom post type, so it would seem that something else is wrong. Other word counters that support custom post types work without any issue.

I chose your plugin because I thought it supported showing word count in the post / custom type admin overview pages. It doesn’t so it’s useless to me.
