How to convert posts to summary?

    I ran into the issue that some of my posts are rather long. I have seen on some blog software that it will show the first 20 lines (or whatever length) and then a “read the rest of this article” link is there.

    Is this option available with Word Press and if so how do you use/set this up.

    If you use the <!--more--> tag at some point in your post, everything before the <!--more--> tag will be displayed by default and then a link will be appended to the end, linking to the full article.

    That’s the simplest way. Try it out for yourself to see what I mean.

    There are a number of plugins that allow for more customization, however. Search for those; they shouldn’t be hard to find.
