• I wanted to convert an existing PHP/MySql dynamic site (www.sayaprayerformypet.com) to WordPress. I googled many forums but did not find any instruction or detailed steps that need to be taken for converting a dynamic site.

    Most I found where about migrating a static html site to WordPress. I need to keep the functionality. Front-end can be a totally new responsive theme.

    Did I miss a good post some where? Please point me in the right direction if anyone has already gone through this. Thanks.

  • There are no specific answer I afraid. Different site may have different mysql structure. Migreting a dynamic php-mysql site to WordPress is all about cloning designs and layot to a WP theme, adding database table and datas to appropreate position. If you can not do it your self you can have a look at

    Yeah, thats what I was thinking too. Looks like it has to be done from scratch.
