How to control the width of modules and images

    Hi,

    I’m using the Timeline Module like this: an Article Headline at top and an image beneath the headline. This is the basic layout I’m using in each module or timeline element.

    Right now, I can’t seem to be able to control the width of the module. My timeline is vertical and runs down the page. Eg, I want the width of the headline/image unit to be 477px width. But even though I’ve inserted an image at 477px, I can’t get the timeline module itself to expand to that wide. If I force the image to be 477px wide via CSS, it expands over top of the timeline center itself, breaking the frame.

    It’s also not clear how to horizontally center my (vertical) timeline on the page.

    Any advice?

    Feature request: to add functionality to easily control the width and add imagery above, beside, or below text (I’m using imagery below the text.)

    Aside from this issue the Timeline module is great.

    Hello @jooonathan,

    To change the width of the Image you would need to edit the Image settings and use the Full Size option. Here’s a gif how you will be able to do the same -> https://goo.gl/MuUxfD

    I’m not sure if I’ve understood your following query -> It’s also not clear how to horizontally center my (vertical) timeline on the page.

    If you’re looking to change the size of the section you should be able to do that using the width of the column containing the timeline module.

    Hi Suman,

    Thanks for the response. Unfortunately, the image setting were already set to the Full Size option. I double-confirmed to be sure, but it still didn’t change.

    One thing I noticed when I’ve started a new timeline just for testing: when the “Timeline Layout” is set to either Left or Right, the section modules appear wide (full-size). But when I switch the Timeline Layout to Both, the section modules shrink and become smaller.

    I don’t think I have any width restrictions on my page, which would explain it, which is what makes me want to look for some kind of width setting in the timeline itself. That said, I could easily be missing something.
