How to control page width and length

At the above site I would like to have a certain size of pages. Clicking on about shrinks everything to whatever the content is there. Make the whole thing very tiny. I would like to make the default size the length of one page of blogs (in this case three entries) and to expand of needed after that.

Is this possible?
