After submitting this plugin that we adopted for review and re-opening, we discovered that at version 1.7.x already existed so we pushed the version to 1.8. It’s currently under review for re-opening by the plugin team.

Unfortunately my post telling people to update to version 1.7 or above for security has been locked. I’m just wondering if there’s a way to get it reopened so I can comment, or some way to allow me (or the moderator) to edit the post to reflect 1.8 and link to a page we’ve put up with more info.

But I can’t seem to find a way to contact moderators. Is there a way? Or is a post like this the only path? It was an honest mistake and we just want to get the correct info out there for the sake of all impacted websites.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

IN general, ask in the #forums channel on Slack. I opened that post for you.

Thanks so much @sterndata. I’ll have to figure out how to get into my WP.org Slack so I can do that.

I’ve commented with the correction. Thank you! You can close it again, if you want.
