Support » Fixing WordPress » How to configure 2 Headers?

  • Hi everyone.
I’ll start off by saying I have no code-writing experience, and that this will be a 2 part question.

    1) Anyhow, I’m using a right-to-left aligned “Kubrick” theme but I’ve decided to tweak it a bit to make it more personal. However, the header that I designed to fit the index (so it’ll blend with the side-bar) doesn’t look good at all when the side bar is missing (when I’m viewing a single post, for instance).
What I want to do is to have 2 headers: One for the main index that blends with the side, and another one for viewing single posts or other pages where there is no side bar.

A different solution would be to insert the side-bar in all the pages, which would work as well.

I thought I’d also list all the steps I took to configure 2 headers myself, but since they failed, I’ll spare you the extra reading.

    2) I want the header picture to be a link directing to the front page of the blog. How do I do that?

Thank you very much in advance.
