I am working with Gutenberg with Ocean-WP theme
I am an entry level user with a bit technical knowledge
I wish to accomplish the following scenario through your POPup anything on click plugin
I have multiple images on one post in my website.
These images do not reside on my server but are linked to images on external servers.
I wish : When a user clicks an image he should be able to trigger a popup linked to that image. This popup contains an HTML to google forms where user fills in some details and saves.
    Currently using : Pop Builder
Why searching for alternatives: Need more control for user. At present Pop Builder triggers a popup once website is loaded (time lag can be set). This results in opening of multiple windows before the user has taken action on earlier one or if he is ready for the windows to open.

    Hello @freelancesid

You need to create all these popup under this plugin. We have option where you can add image and user can click to see the popup.

    Have you tried that?

    Hi Anoop,

Yes I saw that feature, but image in that case has to be in the media library. I have images that do not reside in media library but are accessed through “insert from link”.

    …Unquote

I am looking for a solution that:

1 images can be displayed through external links and
2 clicking on such images would activate the popup
3 that has a html code to another external file (google forms in this case).

I would like to draw your kind attention to point no. 1 where my requirement is not being met. I think point 2 and 3 are doable with this plugin.

Thanks for your quick reply. While we are at it, just another help out of this context, is it a good idea to have too many external links for thumbnail images. Purpose of these links was to speed up the website with lower weight. As I’m learning SEO, I’m getting confused, therefore my question.

    Hello @freelancesid

Its not like that. Please do not click on upload image button and just add the image path from remote server.

Please try this and let me know.

    Hello @freelancesid

You can add HTML code in the editor that you want to display in the popup.

    Sorry Friend,

    I failed again.

Please see what I did and the output I got. Maybe I’m missing the html box for the code. This is where I input the code

    and the output.

    Hello @freelancesid

Can you please add this iframe inside “TEXT” tab instead of “VISUAL” ? http://prntscr.com/sp927c
