when moderating comments, if i delete one it goes to the ‘deleted’ section (obviously). how do i then clear out those comments that have been flagged as ‘deleted’? along the lines of an “empty trash bin” function. are they automatically deleted after a set time?
i ask because when i exported my wordpress comments to disqus after installing the plugin, i forgot to hit ’empty spam’ in wordpres before doing so and now have about 1000 spam comments that are now in the ‘deleted’ section on disqus. that means the old spam messages are now in mixed in with the real (but undesired) comments that i deleted.
how can i clear out the ‘deleted’ comments or when will they disappear on their own? i’m hoping there’s a better solution than erasing the site profile on disqus and then re-exporting everything.
