How to charge for shipping by total weight? (2 posts)

We're using Woocommerce to sell jewelry online with a flat rate shipping charge per order.

But, we've discovered that we need to be able to charge more if they purchase a larger quantity of jewelry.

For example, we charge $6 flat rate, which is fine if a consumer orders 1 piece.

But, we also allow resellers to purchase in bulk, so if a reseller buys 100 pieces, the system still charges $6 flat rate. No good.

Is there a way to set it so that it totals the shipping cost based on the total weight of the items in the shopping cart? How would I do this?

    For example:
Weight is less than 1 pound = $6 shipping.
    Weight is 2 to 5 pounds = $10 shipping.
    Weight is 6 to 10 pounds = $15 shipping.
    Weight is 11 to 20 pounds = $20 shipping.............

Is there an extra shipping Woocommerce plugin I need for this purpose? Thanks.

    I'm using AWD Weight/Country Shipping.

With 2.0.19 woocommerce and 3.6 WP. It seems OK.
