How to change the width of the footer

  • Hi,

    I want to be able to have footer text going all the way across the bottom of my pages so that it is the same width as the rest of the text in the main post. When I add text into the footer text widget the width only takes it approx 1/4 across – I guess this is to allow a few columns in the footer but this is not what I need.

    Any suggestions please?

    Many Thanks

    Yes, that’s a text widget that’s set to a narrower width. You can try adding the following to your CSS code, though it may mess up other things on your site – you’ll have to test it:

    div#footer #text-6 {
       width: 100%;
       }

    If it does not work, please contact Elegant Themes for help as commercial themes are not supported on these forums – it’s part of what you paid for and we don’t have access to them for testing or use.
