How to change the vertical align on the logo/title

I wanted to slightly increase the height of my header (my website is http://www.relentless-health.com). However this caused the header logo/text to become uncentered vertically. I tried using the vertical-align property in styles css to no avail.
Could someone please advise me me on what I’m doing wrong and how to fix this, so I can finally get down to the important part.
