[Resolved] How to change the Text format in the Post

  • Hi,

Sorry to bother you guys again!

Can advise me how to change the line “This entry was posted in” to “This article was written by” in the Post…

[No bumping. If it’s that urgent, consider hiring someone.]

  • You need to use a child theme. Move customizr/parts/class-content-post.php into the child theme, eg:

    Edit lines #296, 298, 300

thanks for your response, i had done that but still the same.

i went to my cpanel access the file manager and created class-content-post.php under customizr-child folder

but i think i missed the –parts, how should i do that.

    many thanks in advance

Should be a New Folder option that creates a subdirectory

This is similar to this solution here, instead using the Say What? plugin.

Have you tried Say What in a multisite environment? I’ve not had any joy modifying some core/plugin text this afternoon.

    No. Sorry to hear that.

Did you set customizr as the domain and include the text exactly as explained here?

    Indeed I did 😉

Tried domain = blank, customizr, domainname but no joy.

Anyway, inspired me to try to get to grips with Action/Hooks so in a few days hopefully…

That’ll be fun! Look forward to the output 🙂

    @rdellconsulting – u r 100% right, need to create a sub-directory under the child-theme…thanks

@electricfeet – thanks for your support also

@nic – i really love this theme and all ur support, u guys are wonderful people…if i have tried to get attention i sincerely apologies and i promise i will not repeat that again

    3 cheers

Assuming it is resolved, can you set this as [resolved] please. (Dropdown in right sidebar) Helps monitoring what problems are still outstanding. Thanks
