[resolved] How to change the success message? (4 posts)

I have been trying to change the success message. I've made the changes to the 'mailchimp_i18n-en_US.po' file, but nothing has changed.

Apparently, you also need to make changes to the '.mo' file, but I don't see much code that could be modified.

How do you change the success message?

Open the directory: wp-content > plugins > mailchimp > po and find your language file. Find the line for the success message, edit, and save.

    Hey there, Kev.

You'll also want to make sure to generate a new MO file in conjunction with editing the PO file. Otherwise, the old messages will remain in place. :(

For a bit more information on that, check out this thread:

    Thanks Nate, everything worked out.

There is something else I haven't been able to figure out. I have succeeded in removing the 'Email', bringing the input field up and changing the message color and styling. However, I can't find how to add spacing between the widget title and the success message.

Do you know how to do this?

The Website is http://www.extravertedintrovert.com/ if you want to try it out with a fake email address or to verify the code.

    Much appreciated.
