    if you can’t make it smaller via WordPress dashboard then just upload it smaller.

    I tried that, and the theme made the picture stretch to the recomended size covering the whole top width.
    However I put this in customer css to match the size of my picture..

    .header-image {
    	width: 625px;
      	height: 63px;
    	margin-top: -40px;

    Your code is right and you can play around with CSS value now.

    But what exactly you are trying to achieve there?

    well when I uploaded a picture say 400x150px it stretched it to 1000+px and made it distorted so needed to make it in preportion.
    Thank you

    Another option is to use Logo upload field via Theme Options which will display image as is if there will be enough room for it.

    Header image is supposed to cover the entire header area.

    So you can play around these options but I guess you have already sorted out this header image thing.

    Ah I didn’t realise that, doh!

    Hello, I am having the same problem. I am not a programmer…. My logo is much too large and overwhelms the site. No matter how much I scale down, it stays the same size but just gets blurrier. I would like this to appear much smaller and on the left-hand side. Please advise.

    Nevermind — I realize that header image is for a photo or something. I went to theme options and uploaded the logo there. Closer to what I want, so now I’ll play with it. Thanks…

    Well, I still have another problem. The logo appears to be blurry, although the file from the designer is quite sharp. I uploaded a .png file (2013 x 662) to the media library, selected it, and chose “medium.” (I would actually like this larger, but the large option is much more than twice the size of the medium.) It’s smaller than the original, so should look sharper but it’s blurry. How can I fix this?
