Your website link comes to a page that says your site is in Maintenance Mode.
Thank you for your reply,
sorry about that! i have a landing page set atm whilst the site is being rebuilt, please check now as ive disabled the landing page,
Could you provide the extra css you added?
all i found on wordpress.org forums was this:
.owp-qv-content-inner h1.single-post-title.product_title.entry-title {
color: #00ff88;
}
however i didnt know exactly where in the custom css to add it, i tried at thr top and the bottom but neither worked,
the post i got it from was: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/edit-quick-view-product-title-color/
thank you for your help! its much appreciated,
By “quick preview” you are referring to the drop-downs on the top navbar, correct?
im not sure if “quick preview” is the correct term,
the header menus are all grey as needed, when you hover they turn purple as needed, but then when you click one of them it turns red, also when you hover over a menu item the dropdown links are all red too but they need to be grey,
then on the chosen categories page.. all the product titles are black bold text but it used to be standard grey text etc,
does that make sence? :/
also just to note, if you add items to the cart, all the product titles in the shopping cart page / checkout page are red instead of grey too,
somehow there is a setting thats changed the default text colour to red and i cant find it anywhere,
o.k. I was just trying to clarify what you meant by “quick view”. I do see the problem.
Yes, your going to want to remove that custom css, look for the custom colors settings, change those, etc before anyone could really help you.
right okay, ive just removed that custom css code off the forum, where would i find the custom colours settings?
im sorry, im new to all this as ive just took my site over from my web developer due to him no longer doing it,

Make sure to “Publish” after editing or the changes won’t show up. 🙂

O.k. So you don’t know much about wordpress then. Well, in order to manage it you should learn a bit.
Can you please confirm that everything is now back to how it was when you first discovered the issue? We need to work from that and not from your changes afterwards.
i have updated to the latest version of wordpress, woocommerce and themify this morning
This is probably what your problem is. You must slowly upgrade or you could risk breaking something (and it sounds like you did).
If you have a backup of your site, revert back to that (before you upgraded everything).
i do have a full backup however this was of the site before 64 updates were installed, the idea being that i install one update at a time and if it crashed i could restore etc,
he has neglected the website for almost 10 months hence the 64 updates, the first update i installed was themify and straight away the formatting went wrong, however, i have done the other 63 updates and nothing at all else has happened, the website is functioning correctly except for the few formatting issues so i dont want to restore to the old backup if i can help it because of some formatting issues,
yes everything is as was after the updates before any addtional things were tried,
Just snap on the square and the Block Settings board should open up on the correct hand side of your screen. Next, click on the bolt for ‘Shading settings’ to extend that tab.
