Support » Plugin: WooCommerce » How to Change the Primary Navigation Menu for WooCommerce Shop Page

  • Hello!
I recently installed WooCommerce on my wordpress site and have everything up and running, except I would really like to have a different primary navigation menu at the top to include “cart” and “my account.”

I have tried about 10 plug ins and searched numerous forums, but I can’t figure it out. I read a good thread about this in a wordpress forum, but I need my hand held to edit CSS. I can do it, I just need to know where to insert or delete within css.

    I really appreciate the help!

  • What theme are you using? How about using a theme that already has two navigation areas?

Working on a theme that has most of the elements you need would be better to work on. Try using Storefront theme. It’s a free theme made by Woothemes, and it has two navigation areas on top.

Thank you so much for replying!

I have Genesis and a child theme. I installed a plugin for genesis/woocommerce and that helped the two work together better.

I think there is something that needs to be edited in the php – something is interfering with any nav menu plug in (including Woodojo). Not sure how to fix that though.

    Thank you!
